I need to define a better way of choosing what to work on. Right now the focus is building the YouTube channel producing videos that aren't really being done in the same level of detail elsewhere. Once this gets to a certain larger number, the plan is to create a course for this audience. And repeat.

The issue here is I don't know what that larger number looks like before it makes sense to spend time developing a course. Is it 5k? 10k? 50k?

So I will develop a strategy with some kind of numerical sense around it based on what I can research and try to stick to it as much as possible. Obviously opportunities present themselves along the way so it needs to be flexible but right now it seems like I have no direct goal beyond "get monetised" and "launch app being built on YouTube".

If the number is say 10k subscribers - how long is it likely to take? Does it make sense to wait until that time or could I build up income streams alongside like other apps, more videos (higher adsense revenue) or ebook creation. I think the point is that it doesn't matter too much but also that focus is important so it needs to be on point to get to a defined position.

I will share the strategy here when I have figured out the direction. And probably when I get a good idea of the RPM of my videos etc which will hopefully be sooner rather than later.
