So it looks like my personal adsense account has been re-enabled after my reinstatement request as I'm able to access the web interface again. Seems like my original thesis of needing to wait at least some time before you can re-apply with a different/business account is valid. Interestingly I didn't get an email saying the personal account was reinstated but the grey $ signs underneath the videos on my youtube studio app have gone too so at least it seems I have one working adsense account.
I fully expect to receive a "you already have an adsense account" email from the latest business account request so there is now a new plan. I have created a new email address and will try to apply to get a business adsense once I get the new rejection and this time put the payee name as the business itself.
Let's see if it works.
